This years Olympics promised to be one of the most important Olympics in history, and backed by 40 billion dollars and a intriguing host, it has most certainly lived up to the hype. However, behind all the glitz and glory, these Olympics have once again revealed one major flaw in the Games’ design – the overall competition for medals is seriously flawed.
